The second book in the Los Lobos series, 2005
Dear Reader-
What is that Charles Dickens quote? “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…” Doesn’t that describe high school perfectly? Sure there were some great things that happened and it was very exciting with all that promise of an unknown future, but wasn’t it also the worst? Imagine if those consequences never went away.
So it is for poor Gracie, my heroine in Falling For Gracie. At fourteen, Gracie had the biggest crush in the world on Riley. So big that when he got his girlfriend pregnant and had to marry her, Gracie was sent away so she wouldn’t spoil the wedding. Fourteen years later, Gracie is back in town to help with her sister’s wedding. Which wouldn’t be that big a deal if Riley weren’t back too. Single…again. It seems the girlfriend had lied about being pregnant.
Not that Gracie cares. She has her own life, thank you very much, and it’s a really good one. But no one in town seems to notice that. They think Gracie and Riley might be destined to be together. Which would be great if Gracie thought for one second Riley was remotely interested in her. Besides, she’s pretty busy keeping her wedding cake business alive and dealing with her family’s on-going traumas, not to mention the daily question of whether the on-again off-again wedding is on…or off.
Falling For Gracie is one of my favorite books ever so I’m delighted it’s available to readers again. I know a lot of you have wanted to get your hands on a copy. I hope you love Gracie as much as I do.
I’ve been chained to my computer for months now. The result of all that hard work is a new four book series out later this year. The series is called Lone Star Sisters, but I like to think of it as Dallas meets Sex and the City!! The books are:
Under Her Skin – May ‘09
Lip Service – June ‘09
From The Hip – July ‘09
Hot On Her Heels – November ‘09
Happy reading!!
